My Process

It all starts with understanding. Defining a strategy for my projects involves planning requirements around user goals and stakeholder business objectives. Discovering the industry, defining success metrics and understanding competitive advantages & disadvantages, are essential steps for establishing a solid foundation for the rest of the process.

Creating something that users and stakeholders will love requires careful thought and designing for purpose. By using different elicitation techniques, I analyze users' perspectives towards a product, looking to empathize with them in order to identify challenges with the system. I use discovery tools and storyboarding exercises to turn my findings from initial concept into something tangible.

It is time to brainstorm. Wether with the rest of the team or with potential users of the product, discussing different ideas in order to create a large pool of solutions is crucial before moving into problem-solving. Once ideas are captured into journey maps, translating them into a navigation system is essential before kicking off the wireframing process and designing initial solutions.

Now that an initial approach to solving the problem is made, I realize the potential solutions into a high-fidelity, workable prototype. By creating something that looks and feels like the real thing, I keep the process moving forward. With iterative testing with potential users, I have the freedom to adapt and theorize changes quickly and efficiently. Fail fast, fail cheap, and hit the ground running for success.

Once the prototype is tested and approved, it is now ready to be turned into a fully-functional product. My work is modular, transparent, and blazingly fast. I maintain rigorous development standards and an agile workflow. Once a beautiful, functional, user-centric product is launched, it is integrated with analytics tools for measuring its performance and making sure it fulfills users and stakeholders expectations.
